⭐ Reviewed by Jerry Fort (The Beer Review Guy) as part of his Fontaineece Coffee Co. review series.
Our Peru Single Origin recently received a fantastic review from YouTube coffee reviewer Jerry Fort of The Beer Review Guy. As the final coffee from our Best Sellers Sample Pack, Peru immediately stood out with its rich aroma, featuring notes of sweet nuttiness, salted caramel, brown sugar, and a silky smooth character that had Jerry excited before the first sip.
As he explored the coffee, Jerry highlighted the complexity and balance that make this Fair Trade Organic Peru such a standout single origin.
"Man, that smells really good."
Jerry noted the coffee's low bitterness, low-to-medium acidity, and pronounced nutty sweetness, even comparing some of the flavor notes to cashews. He described it as a lively, flavorful cup with excellent complexity and a smooth finish that makes it incredibly easy to enjoy black.
"It's rare to find a coffee after being brewed black that you could just drink it that way and be happy with it."
He also found that the coffee paired exceptionally well with both regular creamer and caramel-flavored creamer, allowing the natural coffee flavors to remain front and center without being overwhelmed.
"Wow, that is really good."
Throughout the review, Jerry praised the coffee's sweetness, smooth drinkability, and layered flavor profile, calling attention to the salted caramel and brown sugar notes that emerge throughout the cup.
"It's a good cup of coffee right there."
